WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES

Integrating Geekiness, Science and Agriculture for non-Mag and Muggles.

The philosophy and inspiration for my teachings are founded in creativity and in providing a strong foundation for a life-long relationship with plants.

Let's get down to business, I'm a plant geek. And, I am totally not that serious but that sounded impressive didn't it?  I have a lot of fun and useful information in my workshops whether indoors - outdoors - at your local community garden or the pub. I create an atmosphere where you can relax, have a cuppa and geek out over the latest episode of Stranger Things or revisit your favourites from Outlander, all the while learning some practical plant knowledge. I believe that plants bring us joy, that getting out and gardening should be fun, food should be beautiful, delicious and healthy, and that we can do all this creatively and bring out our inner geek and nerd!

Be inspired by our fun hands-on programs that build knowledge and confidence, but in a really geeky way:

  • Relax and learn while sampling our favourite teas / cocktails*

  • Enjoy a horticulture therapy session with yoga for the inflexible (ie. your hands will get dirty but you will love it)

  • All sessions are scientifically based and travel to alternate realities

  • Cosplay encouraged!!

Questions we often get:

Do you do children's birthday parties?  - Nope.

Can you run a community gardening workshop for kids? - Yes! But their adults must be present. Registration is limited to 15 participants, and you'll need to provide me space to put in my spade.
